The Somalia-based South and Central Journalists Association (SOCJA) is organizing a media forum to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, in June. The forum will feature speakers from across the world, who will discuss the safety, responsibility and impact of journalism today. Registration deadline: March 29. Journalists, media managers, freelancers, and anyone else with an interest in media can attend.
Speakers will include representatives from the BBC, the Somali government, the Kenya Ministry of Information, as well as various senior journalists.
