Journalists from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East are encouraged to submit works published between July 1, 2009 and July 10, 2010 to an award that celebrates the role journalists play in reporting on intercultural issues.
The Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award seeks works in five categories: print, television, radio, online Media and cultural heritage. Works should address issues of cultural diversity and intercultural relations.
Winners receive 5,000 Euros (US$6,782) and will be honored at an awards ceremony in Monaco. Winning works will also be published.
