Five UJOSS journalists to be trained in Japan

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has confirmed that during May 2011 five journalists from the Union of Journalists of Southern Sudan (UJOSS) will attend a two week media training course in Japan. Along with the five UJOSS journalists, seven officials of Ministry of Information of South Sudan will also attend the training.

JICA is an independent administrative institution that works to contribute to the promotion of international cooperation and the sound development of the Japanese and global economies by supporting the socio-economic development, recovery and economic stability of developing regions.
