Can Media Support Women’s Economic Empowerment?

The Program for Empowering Women Financially (in Arabic), part of the Collective for Research and Training on Development Action, organizes an interactive training workshop under the theme, “the economic empowerment of women and the crucial role of the media.”

The workshops that take place in February and March question how the media can support women’s economic empowerment?

Journalists working in Arabic and foreign media organizations can take part in these series of workshops that will take place in various Lebanese provinces.

The program consists of two phases. Participants will write articles on one of the topics discussed in the first phase to continue the second phase. All submitted articles will have the chance to be published on several websites.

Interested candidates must work for a media organizations and possess impressive writing skills.

Interested applicants can send their CV and a letter of identification, no later than five days from the date of their workshop of interest, to vacancymedia@crtda.org.lb
