Journalists who cover religion can join a global association. In early 2012, the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) will launch the International Association of Religion Journalists (IARJ), the world’s first global association of journalists who cover religious issues.

The association will offer collegial forums for dialogue and cooperation, online and in-person training and a wealth of resources and data to promote better coverage of religious issues.

The official launch will be March 2012 at the inaugural meeting in Italy where ICFJ will host a five-day workshop, discussing the association’s role, objectives and more.

Journalists are invited to help develop the association, receive early access to the website and other resources.
