Richard Cookson, one of Media Diversity Institute (MDI) trainers, has produced a film for Channel 4’s series “Unreported World” which follows people in parts of the planet neglected by the media.When the Indian government claimed the disease had been eliminated, Unreported World met the people fighting against leprosy in the country, where those affected by the disease are marginalized and excluded, even by their own family.
“India’s Leprosy Heroes” will be broadcasted on Friday 25 March (7.30pm).
