Media and the Riots Conference: The Big Debate

looterwhEvent date: 26 November 2011

Region: UK & Worldwide

One-day conference that brings together young people from riot areas in London and media practitioners in a long-overdue and much needed dialogue will be held on 26 November in London College of Communication, London SE1.

The event will be informative, educative and practical with plenary sessions and youth-focused breakout workshops.

Afterwards, the plan is to produce a report, perhaps in multi-media format, that will have a positive impact on future media coverage of our communities.

The debate is organised by Citizen Journalism Educational Trust and The-Latest.Com.
